-Single camera documentary
Single camera documentaries are where a documentary is filmed with just a single camera, the difference between this and filming with multiple cameras are that filming with just one camera gives the director the opportunity to have more control over the production of the program.

-Interactive documentaries
Interactive documentaries differs from film documentaries through the integration of a combination of multimedia assets, some examples of these would be photos, Animation or text. In an interactive documentary the user has to interact with the story.Whereas other documentaries that have a linear narrative does not have the same experience as an interactive documentary as they don't allow the viewer to interact with whats going on.
An example of this would be Channel 4's Seven Days.

-Chat show
Chat shows are where celebrity guests are invited onto a show, sometimes with a live audience to do an informal interview with them, the more popular and funded chat shows usually now have bands/ singers playing too. Some examples of chat shows are; The Jonathan Ross show and the graham norton show, but the most popular chat shows are based in america, with shows such as Conan or David letterman.
Talk, or chat shows as it is commonly known were first introduced by Joe Franklin, an American radio and television personality was first aired in 1951.
